Monaco

A few too many men in white uniforms now that I look at it again (Village people tune to go with?), but if that's your thing, fill your boots!

We arrived at the Prince's palace about 30 mins before the changing of the guard, so seemed rude not to watch. Wouldn't recommend a special trip to see it, but your view may differ depending on the men in uniform bit.

I wasn't expecting the height of the surrounding mountains. Monaco is, unexpectedly I guess, really pleasant. We (story of the trip really) just missed the Big (in all senses of the word) Boat Show, there were a few Kiwis about too, assume due to that. Monaco doesn't seem that OTT compared to other spots. I guess if everyone is mega rich there's not much point in trying to show off? Gambling's been good to them for sure. Actually food etc not that much more expensive than anywhere else, dunno about Accom $$, but looks like there are heaps of large Hotels vs smaller places like Villfranche where we stayed....
